Job summary

Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC in Tysons, VA is seeking a Tax Intern to work on client engagements under multiple supervisors. You'll apply accounting knowledge using Firm technology and shadow tax professionals at all levels.

You should be an undergraduate junior or senior in accounting or a related program, within two years of graduation, with strong Excel skills and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Junior or senior enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, within two years of graduation.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.
• Shadow Tax professionals of all levels.
• Participate in team building and training initiatives.
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings.
