Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC is seeking a Tax Intern to support multiple supervisors on diverse client engagements and apply accounting knowledge using Firm technology. You will shadow Tax professionals at all levels and participate in team building and training initiatives.

The role includes presenting on a marketing or research project and attending social functions, with travel to client sites as needed. Juniors or seniors in accounting programs are welcome.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.
• Shadow Tax professionals of all levels.
• Participate in team building and training initiatives.
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings.
