Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC is seeking a Tax Intern in the United States. Juniors or seniors in an accounting or related program will support multiple supervisors on diverse client engagements, applying accounting knowledge with firm technology and shadowing tax professionals across levels.

The role includes participation in team-building activities, marketing or research presentations, and social events. Travel to client sites, including frequent same-day trips, is expected.

Qualifications

• Junior or senior accounting student (2 years from graduation)
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or above preferred
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software
• Ability to travel to client sites, including frequent same-day travel

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology
• Shadow Tax professionals of all levels
• Participate in team building and training initiatives
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings
