Job summary

Johnson Block and Company, Inc. in Madison is offering an internship starting January 2028 through April 2028.

The role provides hands-on tax experience, orientation, and training to begin contributing immediately while exposing you to multiple industries and client work. You will work with staff from Senior Accountants to Partners, developing skills and showcasing work ethic with the aim of potentially joining the firm full-time.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Achieving credits to sit for the CPA exam.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in tax.
• Participate in intern orientation and training to help get you the technical training needed to start contributing immediately.
• Gain exposure and knowledge in one or more industries
• On-the-job training and experience working with clients - you'll put what you learned in classes to use!
• Have the opportunity to work with staff from Senior Accountants all the way up to Partners and learn directly from them.
• Demonstrate your work ethic, knowledge and interest joining Johnson Block full-time.
