Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP invites applications for a Tax Intern role in the United States. You will work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements and apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.

You will shadow Tax professionals of all levels, participate in team-building and training initiatives, and contribute to marketing or research projects. Travel to client sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing accounting or related program; juniors or seniors, within two years of graduation.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.
• Shadow Tax professionals of all levels.
• Participate in team building and training initiatives.
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings.
