Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Tax Intern in Core Tax Services to advance hands-on tax experience. You will prepare returns and extensions under supervision, while applying your coursework and organizational skills to serve clients.

This role offers exposure to tax software, references, and firm policies, with opportunities to build relationships and advance toward CPA licensure as you grow within the firm.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting or related field.
• Pursuing a master's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Actively pursuing CPA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare simple tax returns and extensions under supervision.
• Assist with tax compliance tasks and documentation for clients.
• Use tax software and workpapers to support filings.
• Monitor due dates and engage with client service teams as needed.
