Responsibilities include using tax software, assisting with tax accruals, and contributing to research and notices responses while pursuing an accounting degree. This role offers a path to develop technical and professional skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting.
• Pursuing CPA certification is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tax compliance, preparing returns and extensions under supervision.
• Support ASC 740 tax accruals and related provisions.
• Contribute to tax consulting efforts and online research.
• Prepare simple tax returns and respond to IRS notices as needed.
• Ensure data collection aligns with filing requirements.
