Job summary

You will use Microsoft Office tools and tax software, while building relationships with client service teams. Prerequisites include enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting, with preference for pursuing a master's and CPA credentials.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting or other relevant field required
• Pursuing a masters degree in Accounting or other relevant field preferred
• Actively pursuing school credits to become a CPA

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of tax returns and extensions under supervision
• Support tax compliance tasks to minimize client tax and reporting burdens
• Assist with IRS notices responses and year-end projections
• Use tax software to complete simple returns and prepare extensions
• Assist in ASC 740 tax accruals and tax provisions
• Contribute to tax consulting efforts by researching developments and communicating implications
