Job summary

PwC in the United States is seeking a Tax Intern to immerse in tax consulting, gaining exposure to corporate tax planning and compliance while learning PwC methodologies and contributing to team projects in Cincinnati.

You will work on international tax planning, multistate compliance, and tax research, collaborating with colleagues to develop tax models and improve efficiencies. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA.
• Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment.
• Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Supporting tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies
• Participating in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documents
• Assisting in the analysis of complex tax regulations to optimize tax positions and minimize risks
• Engaging in international tax planning and multistate tax compliance activities
• Conducting tax research to support consulting projects and provide innovative solutions
• Collaborating with team members to develop tax models and structures for clients
• Contributing to the preparation of tax provisions and audits to validate compliance
• Observing and learning from experienced tax professionals to enhance personal development
• Applying data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization and efficiency
