In this role, you will engage with General Tax Consulting services, work on international and multistate tax matters, conduct research, and apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA.
• Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment.
• Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles; typically third year of a four-year degree or fourth year of a five-year program at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Supporting tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies
• Participating in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documents
• Assisting in the analysis of complex tax regulations to optimize tax positions and minimize risks
• Engaging in international tax planning and multistate tax compliance activities
• Conducting tax research to support consulting projects and provide innovative solutions
• Collaborating with team members to develop tax models and structures for clients
• Contributing to the preparation of tax provisions and audits to validate compliance
• Observing and learning from experienced tax professionals to enhance personal development
• Applying data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization and efficiency
