Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking interns to gain exposure to audit or tax work, participating on client engagements and learning from senior staff. Interns may work in assurance, tax, or both, with winter and summer blocks described, and must be able to travel to local offices as needed.

Winter internships typically run January through April; summer roles run June through August. Compliance, transportation, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in a fast-paced public accounting

Qualifications

• Satisfactory academic performance in major-related coursework is expected.
• Intern candidates must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from your assigned office and attend off-site meetings in person.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile account differences and analyze financial data with client personnel.
• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, or other tax returns.
• Calculate tax extensions or estimated payments.
• Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.
