Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking an internship in assurance and/or tax to provide hands-on experience on client engagements and exposure to various industries. You will learn from senior staff while developing your skills in accounting and tax across part-time or full-time winter/summer opportunities.

Interns work alongside partners and managers, with opportunities to participate in client meetings and gain practical experience in a public accounting environment.

Qualifications

• Forward Vision candidates with solid accounting knowledge and strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work under deadlines.
• CPA exam eligibility required or pursuing CPA licensure.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data.
• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, or other tax returns.
• Calculate tax extensions or estimate payments.
• Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.
