Qualifications

• Completion of 90 credit hours
• Working towards a B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university
• Accounting major
• Ability to travel to assigned client locations with reliable transportation
• Preferred minimum 3.0 GPA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work effectively on a team
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Work on a team covering tax specialty areas such as accounting for income taxes, accounting methods and periods, corporate taxation, federal credits and incentives, individual taxation, mergers and acquisitions, pass-through entity taxation, private client services, and not-for-profit organizations
• Complete tax planning and research
• Prepare federal and state & local tax returns
• Understand tax regulations and accounting pronouncements
