Job summary

Hantz Group in Okemos, Michigan, is seeking a Tax Intern to join the Family Office. You will work closely with CPAs, Accountants, and Financial Advisors to gain hands-on tax accounting experience while pursuing your degree.

Both full‑time and part‑time opportunities are available throughout the year. You will analyze tax liability, prepare projections, attend trainings, and support the Tax Team in client service while adhering to industry rules.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• Intention to pursue Enrolled Agent and/or CPA license.
• Ability to obtain an active PTIN.
• Strong communication and time‑management abilities.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.

Tax Intern

Our Tax Specialists provide strategies on how to plan today to minimize our clients’ taxes in the future. Our philosophy at Hantz Group is that Tax Planning is a proactive process that requires monitoring our clients’ tax situation throughout the year to deliver tax projections before preparation of their final tax return.

As a Tax Intern, you will be integrated into the Family Office. Working closely with CPAs, Accountants, and Financial Advisors will broaden your knowledge about tax accounting and its relationship with financial services. Our flexible working hours will allow you to gain valuable hands‑on experience while obtaining your degree. Full‑time and part‑time opportunities are available throughout the year.
