Rudler, PSC is offering a seasonal, paid tax internship designed for students pursuing degrees in accounting, finance, or business. Interns actively participate in the tax preparation process, working alongside experienced CPAs and handling real client engagements rather than just shadowing staff.
You will load client documents, prepare Form 1040 returns and schedules, handle state and local filings, and assist with tax vouchers and extensions.
Rudler is a full-service certified public accounting firm serving individuals and businesses throughout the greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region. Our Tax Internship provides students with a hands‑on introduction to public accounting and the opportunity to experience what it's really like to work in a professional tax environment. Interns work alongside experienced CPAs and contribute to real client engagements, gaining practical experience that goes beyond the classroom. Rather than simply shadowing professionals, our interns play an active role in the tax preparation process while receiving training, guidance, and mentorship from experienced members of our team.
Real‑world tax experience preparing individual income tax returns for actual clients under the supervision and guidance of experienced CPAs.
This is a seasonal, paid, part‑time internship aligned with the individual income tax filing season.
We understand that our interns are students first. Interns typically work approximately 20–24 hours per week, allowing them to gain meaningful professional experience while continuing to prioritize their college coursework. We offer flexibility around class schedules, exams, and other academic commitments.
Specific internship dates and schedules will be discussed during the interview process.
Strong‑performing interns may have the opportunity to extend their internship beyond the tax busy season, providing additional experience and continued exposure to the firm. Extended internship opportunities are not guaranteed and are based on the firm's staffing needs, the volume and type of work available after busy season, and the intern's performance and interest in continuing with Rudler.
