Job summary

Otis invites a motivated, detail‑oriented Summer Intern to join the Tax team at the world headquarters in Farmington, CT, for May/June 2027. You will gain hands‑on experience in U.S. sales tax, construction cost analysis, tax reporting, and related analytical tasks.

You will work in a hybrid environment with Tuesday in‑office expectations and mentorship from experienced Tax professionals. This role suits a student pursuing a finance or accounting degree who seeks practical, real‑world finance

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of state sales and use tax related to Otis construction job costs.
• Prepare adjusting journal entries in support of monthly tax reporting activities.
• Prepare and maintain various tax documentation in support of Otis field user requests.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Summer Intern to join the world headquarters Tax team in May/June 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of state sales and use tax related to Otis construction job costs.

Workplace Model

Hybrid – Work from the office is required on Tuesdays.

The hourly range for this role is $20/hr to $23/hr. We may pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
