TotalEnergies is launching a Tax Graduate Program in Houston to shape your career in taxation. Over three years, you will rotate through key Indirect Tax roles within a global energy company, gaining practical experience and exposure to a broad range of tax activities and business operations.

Program highlights include mentoring, hands-on training, and collaboration with Tax, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders across renewables, natural gas, refining, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, exposure to tax.
• Foundational understanding of corporate tax concepts.
• Advanced Excel and large datasets handling.
• Experience with Power BI/Power Automate or similar tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with reconciliation and analysis of indirect tax accounts.
• Support tax compliance by gathering, analyzing, and validating data.
• Partner with stakeholders to support tax audits and inquiries.
• Monitor developments in indirect tax legislation and assess impacts.
• Contribute to VAT, sales & use tax, and excise tax projects.
• Support tax implications of new business initiatives and growth.
• Develop and enhance in-house tax processes and capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency via automation and analytics.
• Collaborate with global tax teams and cross-functional partners.
