Job summary

BDO USA– Capital Advisors is seeking an Associate to support tax equity, tax credit transfer, and project finance transactions across renewable energy, infrastructure, and related sectors. You will perform due diligence, analyze data rooms, summarize findings, and assist with client deliverables.

You will coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to advance deals, contribute to BD04 business development, and help maintain pipeline and marketing materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics required.
• MBA preferred.
• Three or more years of experience in tax equity, tax credit transfer, project finance, or related advisory role.
• FINRA Series 7/79 and 63 licenses required or pursued after hire.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to travel as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Support tax equity, tax credit transfer and project finance engagements.
• Conduct financial, tax and business due diligence, track data requests, and review data rooms.
• Analyze client financials to identify trends, working capital needs and risks.
• Build transaction analyses, schedules, and key assumption documents.
• Draft diligence reports and client-ready materials.
• Coordinate with external professionals to support deal milestones.
• Summarize key terms and open items for stakeholders.
• Maintain engagement workplans and status updates for timely execution.
• Support market research, CRM updates, and proposal development.
• Participate in industry events for networking and visibility.
• Provide guidance to junior team members on work quality and analytics.
• Perform other duties as required.
