LHH is assisting a client in Tulsa, OK to hire a Tax Manager for a prominent public accounting firm. You will oversee tax engagements, manage client relationships, and guide planning and compliance matters for diverse entities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of tax experience, strong technical tax knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines. CPA is preferred and you will mentor staff to deliver accurate results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of tax experience, preferably within public accounting.
• Prior experience leading or managing tax engagements.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state taxation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Manage federal and state tax compliance and planning engagements.
• Review tax returns for various entities.
• Research complex tax issues and provide recommendations to clients.
• Serve as a primary point of contact and maintain client relationships.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and advise clients on implications.
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of tax staff and senior accountants.
• Manage engagement timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Stay current on changes to federal and state tax regulations.
