CLA Eastern Ohio’s Tax team is hiring a Tax Director or Manager to serve clients from Canton or Akron. This in-office role offers exposure to franchise ownership clients and growth opportunities within a top national firm.

You will lead tax engagements, mentor staff, and drive strategic planning for partnerships, S-corps, and high-net-worth individuals, while advancing your career with a firm that values diverse perspectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of tax experience in a public accounting or professional services firm.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active JD, CPA, or EA certification.

Responsibilities

• Consult with franchise ownership clients on tax planning and business processes.
• Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Review complex partnership, S-corp, pass-thru, and HNW personal tax returns.
• Attend industry events and trainings to stay informed.
