CLA is hiring a Tax Director/Manager to join our growing Northeast Tax practice across multiple MA locations. This role focuses on client consultations, leading engagements, and developing the tax team within a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has CPA certification, 6 years in a large firm, and 10+ years preferred, with a passion for public accounting and corporate tax. Competitive compensation reflects geography and experience, with Massachusetts range shown.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm.
• 10+ years experience highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Active CPA certification. A JD or EA may be accepted in place of a CPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning.
• Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.

• Become an industry professional and attend industry-leading events and trainings.
• Perform a range of tax procedures in accordance with the size and complexity of the engagement.
• Review complex individual and corporate tax returns.
