Overview

Exciting Tax Director Position Our client, a CPA firm, is searching for a Senior Tax Accounting Director to manage all operations. This position will be assisting the partners with running engagements, mentoring/training staff, and reviewing work for accuracy. This job is hybrid in nature with 1-2 days a week in the office with remainder remote. Local candidates only should apply.

Responsibilities

• Preview and review Federal State and Local Tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations and closely held companies.
• Help schedule and spearhead the engagements with the team.
• Previous and substantial experience with 1040, 1065, 1120, 1041 returns.
• Ability to monitor workflows and resolve day to day inquires and issues.
• Detailed and deadline oriented.
• Assist with overseeing bookkeeping for closely held and small companies.
• 4 year degree in Accounting preferably with a CPA and/or EA.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Ultratax software.
• 10 + years of management experience working for a small or mid-sized CPA firm.
