Job summary

The Toro Company, headquartered in Bloomington, Minnesota, invites applications for a Tax Internship as part of the 2027 Summer Internship Program running May 17 to August 6, 2027. You will assist the tax department with day-to-day tasks and broader tax projects, contributing to compliance and planning efforts.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in a business-related degree with graduation after December 2026, possess strong leadership and communication skills, and have Excel experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a student currently enrolled in a business-related degree program with a graduation date no earlier than December 2026.
• Must be interested in a career in a business/finance/accounting-related field.
• Must have strong leadership, time management, and critical thinking skills.
• Must demonstrate an ability to take initiative and drive results.
• Must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills and the capability to work as part of a team.
• Previous tax coursework is preferred.
• Experience in Excel is preferred.

The 2027 Summer Internship Program will run from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Candidates must be available to start on May 17 and participate through the duration of the program. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of a school/employment or any other visa, regardless of expiration date, now or in the future.

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for: As a Tax Intern, you will become a key member of the tax department. You will get the chance to assist on day-to-day tasks as well as more specialized tax projects. These projects provide opportunities to add value to the organization and may influence decision-making, growth, and profitability at Toro. General tasks will include:

• Federal and state tax compliance – income tax and sales/use tax
• International tax compliance
• Tax research
• Tax controversy – IRS and state taxing authorities
• Tax planning projects
• Accounting for income taxes

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

• Must be a student currently enrolled in a business-related degree program with a graduation date no earlier than December 2026
