Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC is expanding its Tax Credits and Incentives Advisory (TCIA) team. As a Tax Credits and Incentives Advisory Staff you will work on federal credits and incentives engagements and develop your technical skills.

You will interview technical personnel, review memoranda, manage client data sources, support engagement teams, and lead the assembly of final deliverables for clients. The role requires a master's or 150-hour CPA track, willingness to travel to client sites, and

Qualifications

• Master's degree (preferred) in accounting or Bachelor's with 150 hours.
• Interest in R&D tax incentives, federal and state incentives, and employee retention credits.
• Interest in depreciation and capitalization; fixed asset review; cost segregation; software development costs is desired.
• Ability to participate in engagement planning and strong project management skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve clients on federal credits and incentives engagements including R&D tax credits and other offerings.
• Develop technical skills in the stated industry/service offering to solve complex issues.
• Interview technical personnel and review memoranda to support credits and incentives.
• Manage the review and organization of client data for credits analysis.
• Support engagement teams by identifying project status and next steps.
• Serve as lead point-of-contact for client personnel with tax and technical backgrounds.
• Lead the assembly of final client deliverables.
• Assist in evaluating complex scenarios involving various credits and incentives opportunities.
