Job summary

Renoir Staffing is seeking a Leasing Agent in San Jose, CA, to excel in sales, marketing and customer service within property management. The role involves managing resident files, collaborating with the Property Manager and maintenance, handling re-certifications, and guiding applicants through the leasing process.

Ideal candidates will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain wait lists, and support residents with work orders, move-in walkthroughs, and regular reporting.

Qualifications

• Sales experience or strong customer service skills preferred.
• Ability to market and sell leasing opportunities in a property setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for resident interactions.

Responsibilities

• Processes and maintains accurate resident files
• Works closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team
• Processes re-certifications and renewals on time
• Ensures applicants and residents comply with government regulations
• Assists applicants with the application process
• Creates and updates the wait list
• Completes daily, weekly, or monthly reports
• Assists residents with work orders or issues in their home
• Completes move-in walk through with new residents

General functions of the Tax Credit leasing Agent:

• Processes and maintains accurate resident files
• Works closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure quality work is completed
• Processes re-certifications and renewals on time
• Ensures that all applicants and residents are in compliance with government regulations
• Assists applicant with the application process
• Creates and updates the wait list
• Completes any daily, weekly, or monthly reports assigned by Property Manager
• Assists residents with work orders or any issues they are having in their home
• Completes move-in walk through with new residents
