We are seeking a highly talented and experienced Tax Counsel to join AMD’s Tax Research and Planning team. The position involves leading the design and development of tax planning initiatives and transactions, performing research on complex US and international tax issues, leading M&A tax due diligence and integration planning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions to drive AMD’s global tax strategy. This role reports to the Director of Tax Research and Planning.
The ideal candidate will be a self‑starter with a solid tax legal background and proven experience developing solutions to address complex tax issues faced by multinational corporations. Excellent analytical and communication skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively on cross‑functional teams and manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
