Qualifications

• Self-starter with solid tax legal background and proven experience addressing complex tax issues.
• Experience working at law firm or Big 4 accounting firm focused on complex tax issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of tax planning initiatives to drive AMD's global tax strategy.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of transactions.
• Lead tax due diligence for M&A deals and development of acquisition integration plans.
• Manage tax audits and develop strategies for inquiries from tax authorities.
• Research US and foreign tax laws to assess impact on tax strategy.
