Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) seeks a Senior Corporate Counsel to lead real estate, data center, and energy transactions within the in-house team in Austin, Texas. You will own end-to-end deals from diligence to financing, partnering with Corporate Strategy, Treasury, Real Estate, Engineering, and IT to align structures with AMD's roadmap and capacity needs.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with complex commercial real estate and data center transactions.
• Experience with capital markets and structured finance related to infrastructure.
• Knowledge of energy procurement, interconnection, and utility arrangements.
• Strong negotiation and advisory skills for corporate strategy stakeholders.
• Ability to manage outside counsel and build scalable templates and playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support across the full lifecycle of data center transactions, including site selection, leasing, credit support, and ongoing operations.
• Support strategic partnerships and co-investment structures, including transactions with financing components and guarantees.
• Lead project finance and securitization structures with Treasury and Capital Markets.
• Review electricity infrastructure and power purchase agreements, interconnection agreements, and related utility arrangements.
• Advise on energy regulatory matters and market risks, partnering with Engineering and Facilities.
• Participate in AMD's strategic transactions pipeline, supporting rapid diligence and execution.
• Serve as a key legal partner to Corporate Strategy on capital allocation and major initiatives.
• Coordinate with Real Estate/Facilities, Strategy, Finance, Treasury, and IT to align structures with technical needs.
• Review due diligence including title, survey, environmental and regulatory review.
