A leading California-based law firm is seeking a skilled Tax/Corporate Paralegal to join its Private Client Services Section. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to work closely with attorneys and clients on a variety of tax-related and corporate matters across federal, state, local, and international jurisdictions.
Base pay range
$105,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
Experience: 5+ years
Salary Range: $105,000 – $130,000 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file IRS tax election forms (e.g., Section 83(b), Forms 8832, 8875, 2553, 1023, SS-4).
- Communicate with the IRS, clients, attorneys, and government agencies regarding filings.
- Support entity formation and maintenance for corporations, LLCs, partnerships, benefit corporations, and nonprofits in CA and DE.
- Assist with reviving suspended or forfeited entities, coordinating with relevant agencies.
- Draft and manage corporate documents including minutes, resolutions, consents, and stock certificates.
- Conduct legal research on tax laws and ensure timely filings.
- Collaborate across practice groups and manage document workflows.
- Interface with corporate service providers and notaries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience in a law firm or multinational company.
- Strong understanding of California and federal tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Carta, Excel, EDGAR, and legal research tools (e.g., BNA, Checkpoint, VitalLaw).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
