We’re eager to find a Tax Coordinator who enjoys connecting with people, is detail-oriented, and has excellent time management skills when juggling multiple priorities. Responsibilities
- Tax Coordinators serve as a liaison between the client and their tax team. Tax Coordinators do not prepare financial statements or tax returns.
- Identify and gather documents required for income tax return preparation.
- Follow up with clients on a consistent basis regarding pending documents and the status of their account via phone, text, and email.
- Communicate with clients via phone, text, and email on updates and deadlines.
- Communicate with clients via phone, text, and email to gather necessary information and address any tax-related inquiries.
- Respond in a timely manner to client inquiries and requests.
- Maintain electronic client files, tracking the receipt of documents and any remaining necessary information.
- Ensure proper and timely follow-up regarding client issues.
- Schedule appointments, ensuring all parties are informed of and kept aware of any updates.
- Assist with filing extensions.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Tax or accounting firm experience, preferred.
- The ability to switch between tasks based on importance and urgency.
- Basic computer skills such as keyboarding and email etiquette.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, including the ability to quickly learn the organization’s systems.
- A team player with a strong work ethic.
- A positive attitude and customer service mindset.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with strong follow-up.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
