Job summary

Wolters Kluwer seeks a tax compliance professional with at least three years of experience and deep knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax laws.

You will work with the IQ/Advisor team, reporting to the Content Manager, to develop and maintain Axcess Advisor content and tools. The role requires collaboration with software, product management, editorial, and production teams, plus the ability to interpret complex tax developments and translate them into practitioner guidance and client

Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience in tax compliance and strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax laws.
• CPA and Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience interpreting tax developments (legislation, regulations, rulings) and how they affect taxpayer reporting.

Responsibilities

• Track changes to tax law and identify items that can be searchable events.
• Collaborate with software, product management, editorial, and production teams on Axcess Advisor.
• Understand federal and state tax returns and interpret developments for taxpayer reporting; knowledge of CCH Axcess required.
• Advise on advanced projects and participate in new product development as needed.
• Create Excel queries to identify affected taxpayers within Axcess using form fields.
• Prepare ELPs/explanations to inform practitioners of tax developments and draft sample client letters.
• Coordinate loading content to Axcess/AC across teams on a rotating basis.
• Assist with content creation for federal legislative developments and loading of federal ELPs and queries.
