Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 4 - 6 years relevant experience.
• Be a licensed attorney or CPA.
• Familiarity with the financial services industry gained through direct involvement with managed investment vehicles.
• Broad exposure to federal income taxation and exposure to state and local tax.
• Demonstrated expertise in tax compliance and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement tax compliance strategies and reporting support.
• Streamline and optimize compliance processes to meet business needs.
• Support the development of governance and compliance frameworks.
• Guide other team members and interpret internal/external issues to recommend quality solutions.
• Participate in client sessions and lead workstreams from planning through closure.
