Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Tax Compliance professional for Wealth & Asset Management to lead tax compliance for hedge funds and funds, working with managers to partners on domestic and international tax issues. The role emphasizes delivering tax compliance solutions, governance, and client engagement across global tax requirements.

You will analyze tax provisions, engage in tax reform calculations, and coordinate with junior staff while meeting team targets in a hybrid EY environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically, no less than 2-4 years relevant experience in financial services.
• CPA license or licensed attorney required or possible to obtain.
• Familiarity with financial services industry from managed investment vehicles.
• Broad exposure to federal income taxation and state/local tax.
• Experience with tax reform calculations.
• Experience with tax technology solutions.
• Data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of tax accounting and tax provisions.
• Complex problem‑solving abilities.

• Implementing and optimizing tax compliance and reporting processes.
• Supporting governance and compliance frameworks.
• Providing tax compliance and reporting support, including tax provision and reform calculations.
