The Tax Compliance Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and reviewing tax compliance engagements to ensure they are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with firm policies, tax filing deadlines, and client agreements. This role provides leadership to the tax team by supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff while fostering professional development and maintaining high-quality service standards.
This position requires a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting and an active CPA license. Master's or Law degree in Taxation is a plus. Minimum three (3) years experience as a senior tax accountant in a CPA firm and current technical knowledge in tax law.
Excellent communications and organization skills are a must. Ability to write and speak fluently in both Spanish and English. Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence writes routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to work with several projects at a time and have attention to detail.
The annual salary range for this position is $85,000 to $125,000, based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
