You'll excel in a fast-paced, client‑facing role, communicating clearly, protecting confidentiality, and utilizing digital tools to make tax preparation convenient and accurate for diverse clients across our offices.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience in a client-facing role with digital platforms and phone communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to explain complex processes clearly.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset and quick trust-building.
• Working knowledge of individual tax preparation and IRS regulations; passing the HR Block knowledge assessment.
• Comfort with technology to support client interactions.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and capacity to learn proprietary systems quickly.
• Ability to troubleshoot client issues and resolve concerns efficiently and professionally.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple client interactions and timely follow-up.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adaptability to changing business needs and client demands.
• Passion for delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact to create a warm, professional client experience.
• Guide clients through intake, collecting tax documents and identifying needed information.
• Clearly communicate tax preparation steps, review pricing, and answer questions.
• Partner with Tax Advisors to ensure all required client information is available.
• Act as a liaison between the client and Tax Advisor for a seamless experience.
• Educate clients on HR Block’s service options and digital tools.
• Assist with paying or electronically signing the tax return, providing step-by-step guidance when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with office staff to improve client experience and support goals.
• Conduct follow-up communications to ensure client satisfaction and referrals.
