Job summary

The Lee County Tax Collector in Florida is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support our community across Motor Vehicle, Driver License, Business Tax Receipt, Real Estate Tax, and Hunting and Fishing transactions. You will handle payments in person, by mail, or drop-off while delivering friendly, 5-star service.

This role offers starting hourly pay of $20.21 and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, health plans, retirement options with employer match, life and pet

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; experience in customer service or call center and cash handling preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid Florida driver's license.
• Bachelor's degree in business management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to customers on tax collector services and procedures; process payments in person, by drop off, or by mail.
• Perform cashiering functions and balance daily revenues.
• Respond to customer requests, research problems, and initiate resolution.
• Contribute to 5-star service delivery and support driver license services as needed.
• Collaborate with management to coordinate work activities and resolve issues.
