Job summary

Brady Martz in Fargo, ND seeks a Tax and/or Audit Manager to serve as engagement lead or under supervision, coordinating client work and firm resources. You will train and lead staff, review work, and deliver feedback while maintaining strong client relationships and meeting deadlines.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting, 5+ years of accounting, CPA or CMA preferred, GAAP/GAAS knowledge, and strong communication and technology skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; accounting degree preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including staff management.
• CPA or CMA license preferred; GAAP/GAAS knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to provide tax and/or audit engagement services for clients.
• Lead tax and/or audit engagement teams to complete all engagement components and manage client information.
• Oversee and review Senior Associates and Associates, with training and coaching.
• Apply judgment to prepare and review accounting and tax workpapers, reports, and returns.
• Manage client relationships and serve as primary client contact on day-to-day matters.
• Provide engagement updates to Senior Managers and Shareholders and support business development.
