Aprio, a Top 20 CPA and advisory firm, invites high-performing accounting students to apply for the 2028 Spring (January–April) or Summer (June–August) Internship Programs in the Austin, TX office. The program offers hands-on client work in tax or audit and emphasizes initiative, collaboration, and professional growth.

Interns join a fully in-office environment with mentorship, exposure to complex accounting matters, and a path toward CPA licensure.

Qualifications

• Accounting major pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Minimum 3.3 GPA required.
• On track to meet CPA eligibility with a clear plan to pursue licensure.
• Interest in pursuing a full-time career in public accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to apply Excel skills in data analysis and reporting.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with clients and team members.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsabilités

• Tax intern responsibilities include assisting with tax return preparation and planning.
• Audit intern responsibilities include assisting with assurance engagements and evaluating internal controls.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver tax solutions and support client service initiatives.
