Pinion is inviting students to begin an accounting career with hands-on experience in tax and audit. The internship runs January 4, 2028 to April 14, 2028, is fully in-office in Fresno, and offers 24 hours per week for part-time or 40 hours per week for full-time schedules.

Compensation ranges from $20 to $27 per hour, with consideration for CPA sit-eligibility and potential future opportunities within the firm.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s in Accounting (or related field).
• GPA 3.0+ in major and overall.
• Hours: 24/week part-time or 40/week full-time.
• Location: in-office.
• Employment eligibility: not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Assist with financial statement preparation, audits, general accounting, and special projects.
• Apply academic knowledge to real client work while managing priorities and deadlines.
• Participate in client meetings and collaborate with professionals across multiple levels of the firm.
• Utilize technology and data tools to deliver accurate, efficient results.
• Build lasting relationships with fellow interns, mentors, and firm leaders.

Education

Accounting degree program or related field

GPA 3.0 or higher
