Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen in Minneapolis, MN is seeking Tax/Audit Interns to support tax return preparation, audits, reviews and other assurance services. The role offers exposure to multiple client engagements, and opportunities to learn procedures, workpapers, and systems while developing industry knowledge.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, must meet CPA exam eligibility requirements, and be proficient in MS Office with a willingness to travel to client

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA eligibility required to sit for CPA exam per state requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Windows and Office products.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience with procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and training opportunities.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members regularly.
