Sands Anderson seeks a Tax Attorney to join our expanding tax practice in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will analyze tax laws, advise clients on planning strategies, and represent clients in tax disputes with a focus on local government, business, and litigation contexts.

Candidates should have a JD from an accredited school, bar admission in VA or NC, and at least 6 years of tax law experience. Relocation assistance is available, and a hybrid work schedule is offered to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in Virginia or North Carolina.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience practicing tax law.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Responsibilities

With 80+ attorneys in 6 offices throughout Virginia and North Carolina, we are seeking a Tax Attorney to join our highly ranked legal team and provide expert advice and representation on tax-related matters. The Tax Attorney will be responsible for analyzing tax laws, preparing legal documents, representing clients in tax disputes, and offering strategic tax planning guidance.

Candidates open to relocation are encouraged to apply and will be considered with a competitive relocation package.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
