Job summary

PwC in Seattle is seeking an entry-level Tax Associate to deliver tailored tax services and support client engagements. You will learn to develop tax strategies, conduct research, and collaborate with teams to optimize compliance and risk management across domestic and international matters.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA.
• Before starting full-time at PwC, meet educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment.
• Client service associate positions are entry-level roles and job seekers have completed or are in the process of completing their final academic year of educational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns to meet compliance requirements
• Supporting the development of tax strategies to optimize tax positions and minimize risks
• Conducting tax research and analysis to provide insights on domestic and international tax matters
• Collaborating with teams to deliver tailored tax consulting services for diverse industries
• Engaging in multistate tax compliance and reporting to address jurisdictional tax obligations
• Participating in the preparation of tax provisions and modeling to support financial reporting
• Contributing to the preparation of partnership tax returns and related documentation
• Assisting in the development of tax structures and planning for international tax planning initiatives
• Utilizing data analytics to enhance tax compliance and reporting processes
• Supporting regulatory compliance consulting to navigate complex tax regulations
