Aprio is seeking a Tax Associate to join its growing tax team. You will apply strong technical tax accounting knowledge on consulting and compliance engagements, and contribute to the preparation of tax returns for various forms.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of public accounting experience; entry level considered.
• Degree in Accounting or related field strongly preferred.
• Exceptional writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel on a very limited basis.
• Strong technical tax accounting knowledge for consulting and compliance engagements.
• Experience in preparing tax returns (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1040).
• Participation in tax planning and client consultation.

Responsibilities

• Apply strong technical tax accounting knowledge on consulting and compliance client engagements.
• Prepare tax returns (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1040).
• Participate in the tax planning and consultation process for clients.
• Participate in professional development activities, including training sessions and networking events, and work closely with Senior Leadership.
