Job summary

Johnson Lambert LLP in Raleigh, NC is seeking an entry-level tax professional to participate in client engagements from planning to delivery. You will research tax issues, communicate resolutions to clients, and help teams develop efficient processes while mentoring junior associates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and requisite hours to sit for the CPA exam.
  • 0-3 years of experience.

What’s the job like?

  • Proactively communicate with appropriate management regarding work status, schedule requests, and time/budget variances, etc.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve tax-related matters
  • Manage work time appropriately to ensure client expectations and deadlines are consistently met
  • Develop professional relationships with clients and demonstrate appropriate behavior at all times at client site
  • Learn about current tax practices and changes in the tax legislation
  • Develop technical skills through on the job experience and formal channels, such as seminars, etc.
  • Build strong working relationships at peer and client levels
  • Maintain professional standards of the firm and client confidentiality
