Qualifications

• Detail-oriented leader with problem solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting; or Master’s degree in accounting or tax.
• Academic success (GPA 3.0 min).
• Completion of requisite degree and credits to sit for the CPA exam.

Responsibilities

• Focusing on projects related to cost segregation, fixed asset recovery periods, capitalization versus expense analysis, R&D tax credits, and domestic producer activities deduction.
• Working directly with clients, identify and resolve issues as they emerge.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant code, regulation and administrative pronouncements on tax incentives.
• Developing relationships with clients and staff, including networking and business development activities.
• Assisting clients to ensure proper documentation of credits and deductions in accordance with IRS regulations.
• Deepen knowledge in tax and tax consulting through exposure to service lines.
