Job summary

Plante Moran in Colorado is seeking a tax professional who will help instill confidence in organizations by assuring their financial health and by crafting business solutions, not just spreadsheets.

You will work directly with clients on cost segregation, tax incentives, and related credits while pursuing CPA licensure and engaging in ongoing tax education within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting; or Master’s degree in accounting or tax.
• Academic success with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Completion of the requisite degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of obtaining your CPA license.

Responsibilities

• Focusing on projects related to cost segregation, fixed asset recovery periods, capitalization vs. expense analysis, R&D tax credits, and domestic producer activities deduction.
• Working directly with clients, identify and resolve issues as they emerge.
• Maintaining understanding of relevant code, regulation and pronouncements on tax incentives that impact clients.
• Developing relationships with clients and staff, including networking and business development.
• Assisting clients to ensure proper documentation of credits and deductions in accordance with IRS regulations.
• Deepen knowledge in tax and tax consulting through exposure to service lines.
