Eide Bailly LLP in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Tax Associate to join our in-office tax team. You will prepare individual, business, and other tax returns, collaborate with the tax group on planning and projects, and gather client information to ensure accurate filings.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting, is pursuing CPA licensure (EA accepted), and has 1–3 years of public accounting tax experience. You thrive independently and within a team and stay current with IRS rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Active CPA license or working towards CPA preferred; EA accepted.
• 1–3 years of tax experience in public accounting.
• Ability to explain tax concepts clearly (e.g., 1040 vs 1120).
• Knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with evolving tax rules and policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, business, and other tax returns for clients.
• Work with tax team on planning, client interaction, and special projects.
• Gather relevant tax information from clients to ensure accurate returns.
• Assess tax situations to maximize tax benefits.
• Prepare accounting-related reports in a paperless environment.
• Attend training seminars and professional development events.
