Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of tax preparation and review experience, preferably in public accounting.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
  • Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, including researching and interpreting tax laws and regulations.
  • Assist in developing and implementing tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize client savings.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely tax return preparation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax practices and changes in tax law.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients by promptly responding to inquiries and providing clear tax advice.
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
  • Identify tax risks and opportunities for improvement in the current tax process.

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is a plus.
