Responsibilities include organizing client financials, maintaining records, preparing tax forms, advising on liabilities, and filing returns. CPA eligibility or active CPA is preferred for growth within the tax practice.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA preferred or eligible.
  • 1+ years of proven experience in public accounting preferred.
  • Analytical skills to review financial information.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to explain information to clients.
  • Knowledge of IRS rules and regulations as well as state and local tax laws.
  • Familiarity with tax preparation software and electronic tax filing systems.
  • Multitasking skills to handle multiple clients' tax preparations at the same time.
  • Organizational skills to maintain clean records.
  • Strong time management skills to complete work within strict deadlines.

What We Offer
  • Competitive wage of $60,000-$90,000 DOE
