TAX ASSOCIATE PARTNERSHIP TRACK (BATON ROUGE NEW ORLEANS HOUSTON) — Search Group Solutions is recruiting a senior-level Tax Associate for a prominent law firm with a clearly defined partnership track. This role spans complex international, federal, state, and local tax matters, along with significant contributions to teaching, publishing, and professional presentations.

Responsibilities

• Advise individual and business clients on corporate formation, acquisitions, mergers, restructurings, and a wide range of transactional and tax-related issues.
• Support an adjunct professor partner through teaching law school classes, writing for professional journals, and presenting at tax conferences.
• Leverage strong business development capabilities to grow the practice.

Requirements

• JD and LL.M. in Taxation required
• LL.M. must be from NYU, Georgetown, or Northwestern (Pritzker)
• 10–15 years advising business clients on international, federal, state, and local tax matters
• Willing to sit for the Louisiana bar if licensed elsewhere
